If you need a custom order other than the ones I already have available on my website then the order may take longer. Please contact me through e-mail or phone and we can discuss what you are wanting. I make custom jewelry for any age. Weddings I take orders for weddings two months in advance only. I need time to draw and finalize sketches and you may need to give me swatches so I can choose stones and then order supplies. If you are in a rush then just ask because I might have the items needed and be able to work with you anyway. After I have been given all the information needed for my designs then I will make three rough sketches. The final sketch will be touched up and with approval I will go ahead with the order. Shipping TOP I ship with USPS on business days only (Monday-Friday excluding holidays). Please take into account holidays and order in advance for Mother's Day and Christmas. Remember that custom orders might take two weeks to process, not including shipping. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Your order will be shipped after payment has cleared. Shipping Prices United States Priority Mail: $5.00 (2-3 days not guaranteed) Canada First Class Mail: $10.00 International First Class Mail: $16.00 Packaging and Gift-Wrap TOP I package all my items in a black, pinstripe jewelry box. Inside the box your item will be attached to a piece of cardstock tied with ribbon. Every item is placed in a plastic zipper bag before going into the box.
I offer free gift-wrapping. I will choose between an assortment of solid color papers and satin organza ribbons to wrap your package(s). Returns TOP Part of my mission statement is that I will strive to make every customer completely satisfied and wanting to come back for more. I stand by that 100%. I do however have to set some limits.
For pre-made items
I will offer a full refund for up to 14 days from purchase date. I will also offer an exchange if you prefer something else. The item(s) should be in the same condition as you bought it. If you need to return something please send an e-mail to kelli@theglassstring.com and I will send you an address.
Custom jewelry is non-refundable
I have to implement this policy due to personal taste. Everyone has his or her own style and someone else might not prefer your design or color choice. My custom designs are sketched and designed specifically for each person’s needs and wants.
Jewelry Outlet items are non-refundable
Warranty TOP I offer a one-year warranty on my jewelry (excluding jewelry from the "Jewelry Outlet"). This includes the item breaking. I can not replace or fix everyday wear and tear on your products, but I will be happy to fix a broken item. I have not had any problems in the past but things do happen and I understand that. You may return the item to me and I will repair it and send it back. I cannot fix scratched stones, or beads. Your item will be fixed with the original pieces if possible, or they will be replaced as necessary. The warranty includes shipping back to you. Re-Stringing of Key Chains, Tethers, or Lanyards TOP I offer a yearly re-stringing fee of $15.00. You may ship me back your key chain or phone tether and I will clean it and re-string it. I can't fix the scratches, but trust me these look great for years (I know because I have two boys!) The fee covers shipping back to you. Caring and Cleaning of Jewelry(Phone Tethers, Mommy Key Chains, and Lanyards too!) TOP My products are made of semiprecious and precious gemstones. The metals are sterling silver and 14K gold fill. Your items will last a lifetime if taken care of properly. Naturally these metals will tarnish when exposed to the things we use daily such as make-up, perfume, hairspray, powder, etc. To help keep you jewelry shiny it should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off in the evening.
To clean I recommend using a jewelry polishing cloth, or a mild jewelry cleanser but please read all instructions before using. Do not use harsh abrasive chemical cleansers. You could also use a phosphate free soap daily to keep it from tarnishing. Some stones are considered porous and can be ruined if not treated with care, so if you are not sure then look-up the stone and how to care for it.
Please store your items in the plastic zipper bags they come in. With a little TLC you can keep your work of art lovely for years to come. |
